I Love Flying! What?

I love flying!

I don't love being in the airport so much, but nothing is better than being on a plane while traveling... so long as I get a window seat. But even on the crappy days when I have to go all over the country just to get where I am going, I still love it!

What you see from the window seat can be breathtakingly beautiful at times.

Somewhere between Salt Lake City, Utah and Kansas City, Missouri

When you look out through the small window, sometimes you see incredible sights. Sometimes you're lucky and get to see the Earth start to curve ever so slightly. Other times you can barely make out the cars and houses. Your perspective changes and you realize just how small and infinitesimal we really are.

Sometimes, if you are lucky you get to see the sun rise. And when you are well above 10,000 feet in the air, you can appreciate the beauty of the simple things a little bit more.

Other times, if you are even luckier you may get to see famous landmarks, like the Statue of Liberty.

Another thing that makes flying so incredible for me is I can sleep on planes. Now being an "official" adult, I don't get as much sleep as I would like to and plane travel literally knocks me right out. Sometimes when I wake up halfway through the trip I'll discover that my mouth was hanging wide open. Embarrassing. But then I remember that I don't care and go back to sleep.

All in all, I love flying!
